Treating cancer starts with knowing you have it

Finding cancer early is important to improve treatment outcomes and survival.

The vast majority of cancers show no symptoms until later stages, when treatment options may be limited. Today, many cancers are found too late, when outcomes are often deadly

Advancing cancer detection

Routine screening tests are recommended because they have been proven to save lives by detecting some cancers earlier.

It is time to look at cancer more broadly, in addition to the 5 cancers that are routinely screened for today.

The most important cancer is the one that you or your loved one may have — and beating it starts with knowing you have it.

What is the Galleri test?

Galleri is a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test that looks for a signal shared across more than 50 types of cancer through a simple blood draw. Many of these cancers are not commonly screened for today and otherwise may go unnoticed before symptoms appear.

Who can benefit

The Galleri test is recommended for use in adults with an elevated risk for cancer, such as those aged 50 or older. The Galleri test is intended to be used in addition to, and not replace, other cancer screening tests your healthcare provider recommends.

The Galleri test does not detect all cancers and not all cancers can be detected in the blood. It also does not measure your genetic risk of developing cancer in the future.

  • Only your healthcare provider can determine if Galleri is right for you.
  • Use of Galleri is not recommended in individuals who are pregnant, 21 years old or younger, or undergoing active cancer treatment.

Getting tested

The Galleri test can be included in a routine visit with your healthcare provider through a simple blood draw. Talk to your healthcare provider today about your risk for cancer, and whether the Galleri test is right for you.

Not all cancers can be detected by the Galleri test. Your healthcare provider will discuss appropriate follow-up testing to confirm if cancer is present.
